“Myterious of Benedict Society”

On Last April, I made an appointment to meet my lovely friend, Tika. Actually the meeting was only to exchange our collections of Korean Pop or Korean Drama, because the two of us really know how to enjoy the Korean entertainment. So, we arranged the time. But all the sudden she gave me a present for my birthday, it was pretty late, coz my birthday was on March, that’s quite a long period but its fine ;P She gave me “Myterious of Benedict Society” by Treeton Lee Stewart. I really enjoy this book.

The story is about Reynie Muldoon. After Reynie Muldoon responds to an advertisement recruiting "gifted children looking for special opportunities," he finds himself in a world of mystery and adventure. The 11-year-old orphan is one of four children to complete a series of challenging and creative tasks, and he, Kate, Constance, and Sticky become the Mysterious Benedict Society. After being trained by Mr. Benedict and his assistants, the four travel to an isolated school where children are being trained by a criminal mastermind to participate in his schemes to take over the world. The young investigators need to use their special talents and abilities in order to discover Mr. Curtain's secrets, and their only chance to defeat him is through working together. Readers will challenge their own abilities as they work with the Society members to solve clues and put together the pieces of Mr. Curtain's plan.

It has been a while since I read this kind of books, lovely adventure and with unpredictable story. Because my study force me to reading political, law, or even sociology books, all of them are making me dizzy. And this present brings back my memory when I was still in junior high school. I was really crazy about Harry Potter Novel Series, which often gave me a day dreaming about how i could go to London, witnessing a King Cross Station. Who knows, that finally I could make myself go there.

P. S. 감사 Tika!
